On August 8, Hebei Runnong Water-Saving Technology Co., Ltd. (hereinafter referred to as "Runnong Water-Saving") and Northwest A&F University (hereinafter referred to as "NWAFU") held an exchange seminar at Shanxi Runnong New Materials Ecological Technology Co., Ltd. (hereinafter referred to as "Shanxi Runnong"). The two parties conducted in-depth exchanges on technological breakthroughs and practical applications of intelligent irrigation equipment. Ding Huijun, General Manager of Runnong Water-Saving, attended the meeting and delivered a speech.

Ding Huijun stated that with the scientific research support of NWAFU, the company has achieved breakthroughs in material R&D and intelligent control systems, and the accuracy and durability of irrigation systems have been significantly improved. The cooperation between the two parties will overcome the difficulties of water-saving in dryland agriculture, promote the transformation of irrigation technology towards intelligence and high efficiency, and inject impetus into agricultural modernization.

At present, through cooperation models such as co-establishing doctoral workstations, conducting joint technological research, and promoting demonstrations, the two parties have achieved remarkable results in fields including water-saving irrigation, water-fertilizer integration, and smart agriculture. Professor Zhu Delan, leader of NWAFU’s doctoral team, introduced the application results of water-fertilizer integration technology in experimental fields at the meeting—this technology not only significantly improves water-saving rates but also ensures steady growth in crop yields.

The two parties plan to further strengthen cooperation in the next step in areas such as the upgrading of intelligent irrigation equipment, the construction of demonstration parks, technical training, and talent cultivation.
