On August 11, Sichuan Zhonglongtai Construction Engineering Co., Ltd. At the demonstration site, Gao Wei—Member of the Party Committee, Deputy General Manager of Runnong Water-Saving, and General Manager of Zhonglongtai—gave a detailed introduction to the three core advantages of the PV-powered intelligent fertilizer applicator:
- Green and Energy-Saving: Equipped with a photovoltaic (PV) power supply system, it realizes fertilizer application with zero electricity consumption, helping promote the low-carbon transformation of tobacco planting.
- Intelligent and Precise: It uses IoT sensors to monitor soil fertility in real time, automatically adjusting fertilizer dosage and frequency, which increases fertilizer utilization rate by more than 30%.
- Cost Reduction and Efficiency Improvement: The integrated design reduces manual intervention, making it suitable for various tobacco planting terrains such as mountainous areas and plains, and cutting comprehensive operation and maintenance costs by 25%.
