2025-08-29

The "Community Football Youth Development Initiative" National Training Camp launched in Beijing on August 27. The week-long program brings together 337 participants, including players and coaches, from 16 youth academies across 12 Chinese provinces and regions. Participants will engage in a variety of activities, from skills assessment and friendly matches to coaching workshops.

Organized jointly by the China Football Development Foundation and the Beijing Football Association, with support from the Beijing Reignwood Culture Foundation, the camp specifically targets elite U13 boys' and U14 girls' teams. Through intensive training sessions and competitive matches, the program aims to elevate the performance standards of these young athletes.

The Reignwood Culture Foundation, a principal sponsor of the camp, has established itself as a long-standing advocate for youth sports and cultural initiatives. With a proven track record in supporting youth wellness and community programs, the Foundation brings more than just financial backing to the table. Beyond providing essential resources for the camp, it serves as a bridge to international sports education expertise, helping to elevate Chinese youth football training to global standards.

At the opening ceremony, ORG Technology Co., Ltd. formalized a five-year strategic partnership with the China Football Development Foundation. This collaboration will open new doors for young Chinese footballers, with ORG pledging support for overseas training opportunities, international tournaments, and grassroots coaching development. The partnership marks a crucial step toward integrating Chinese youth football into the global sporting community.

Speaking at the event, Wang Dong, General Manager of ORG International Holdings Limited, announced plans to forge a sustainable youth development program in partnership with French Ligue 1 club AJ Auxerre and the China Football Development Foundation. In a symbolic gesture, Wang presented a number 99 jersey to the Foundation, representing the company's commitment to long-term, systematic youth development through concrete actions.

Wang Xiaopeng, Chairman of the China Football Development Foundation, highlighted the vital role of community-based youth training in football development. He shared impressive statistics from the program's first year: since September 2024, it has provided funding to over 100 training institutions and supported the development of nearly 3,000 young players. Most notably, 78 participants have progressed to various national team age groups. Wang explained that this training camp fills a crucial gap by providing high-caliber competitive opportunities and giving promising talents the platform they deserve to showcase their abilities.

Former national team player Qu Bo, speaking from his experience in youth development, emphasized the fundamental connection between quality training, competitive matches, and player development. "The Foundation's initiatives have been transformative in raising the standards of youth football training in China," he noted.

Looking ahead, ORG plans to create a two-way exchange program, facilitating opportunities for Chinese youth players and coaches to gain international exposure while implementing global best practices domestically. This dual approach of combining overseas experience with local implementation aims to create a sustainable model for football development in China.

The path to revitalizing Chinese football lies in nurturing young talent and maintaining unwavering commitment to development. ORG stands ready to collaborate with football enthusiasts nationwide to help the next generation of Chinese footballers achieve their dreams on the international stage.
