Faults and solutions of gas boiler burners

I. Reasons why the ignition rod of the gas boiler burner fails to ignite:

There is carbon slag and oil stains in the gap between the ignition rods.

2. The ignition stick is broken. Damp. Leakage current.

3. The distance between the ignition sticks is incorrect, either too long or too short.

4. The insulating outer skin of the ignition rod is damaged, causing a short circuit to ground.

5. Faults in the ignition cable and transformer: Broken cables and damaged connectors cause short circuits during ignition. The transformer is disconnected or has other faults.

There are five handling measures as follows: clearance, replacement, distance adjustment, cable replacement, and transformer replacement.

Ii. Reasons Why the ignition rod of a gas boiler sparks but fails to ignite:

The ventilation gap of the cyclone disc is blocked by carbon deposits, resulting in poor ventilation.

2. The oil nozzle is not clean, clogged or worn.

3. The setting Angle of the damper is too small.

4. The distance between the tip of the ignition rod and the leading edge of the oil nozzle is inappropriate (too protruding or indented)

5. The solenoid valve of the ****** oil gun is blocked by debris (small oil gun).

6. The oil is too viscous and difficult to flow, or the filtration system is clogged or the oil valve is not open, resulting in insufficient oil suction by the oil pump and low oil pressure.

7. The filter screen of the oil pump itself is clogged.

8. The oil contains a lot of water (abnormal noise from boiling inside the heater).

The handling measures include: removal; Clean first. If not, replace with a new one. Downsize test; Adjust the distance (3 to 4mm is ideal); Disassemble and clean (clean the parts with diesel); Inspect the pipelines, oil filters and insulation equipment; Remove the screws around the oil pump, carefully take off the outer cover and remove the oil filter inside, then immerse it in diesel oil for cleaning. Try it with new oil.

Iii. Reasons for the gas boiler's small flame being normal but going out or flickering unstably when turning to a large flame:

The air volume setting of the large fire damper is too high.

2. The microswitch of the oil valve (the set outside the damper) in the big fire was improperly set (the air volume was set larger than that of the damper in the big fire).

3. The viscosity of the oil is too high and it is difficult to atomize (heavy oil).

4. The distance between the cyclone disc and the oil nozzle is inappropriate.

5. The oil nozzle of the large fire is worn or dirty.

6. The heating temperature of the reserve oil tank is too high, causing steam to impede the oil pump's oil delivery.

7. The oil in the fuel oil boiler contains water.

Treatment measures: Gradually reduce the test; Increase the heating temperature; Adjust the distance (between 0 and 10mm); Clean or replace; Set it to around 50℃. Change the oil or drain the water

Iv. Reasons for Increased Noise from Gas Boiler Burners:

1. The stop valve in the oil circuit is closed or the oil intake is insufficient, and the oil filter is blocked.

2. The oil inlet temperature is low, the viscosity is too high, or the pump's oil inlet temperature is too high.

3. The oil pump malfunctioned.

4. The bearing of the fan motor is damaged.

5. The fan impeller is too dirty.
