(1) The valve between the pressure gauge and the pressure vessel does not meet requirements. Some companies fail to install a valve between the pressure gauge and the pressure vessel, while others do not strictly manage the valve. For example, during the inspection of a pressure vessel in a certain unit, it was found that the valve between the pressure gauge and the equipment was closed, rendering the pressure gauge virtually useless.

(2) Installation is not based on the working medium. For example, when the medium is steam, a water trap should be installed between the pressure gauge and the pressure vessel. However, some companies directly connect the two with a short pipe when installing a pressure gauge on a steam distributor.
(3) The red line indicating the maximum working pressure is not marked properly. Some companies fail to mark the red line on the scale of the pressure gauge as required, but instead stick it on the glass of the gauge's casing, which often leads to the red line falling off during use.
(4) The pressure gauge is installed in a position that is not convenient for reading. During regular inspections of pressure vessels, it is sometimes found that the face of the pressure gauge is facing the workshop wall with very little space in between, making it very inconvenient to read the gauge.
