Feature Description:

An early-to-mid-maturing variety with vigorous plant growth, high fruiting rate, and good disease resistance. The fruit is conical, 20-25cm in length and 8-12cm in shoulder width, with emerald green peel, firm flesh texture, plump bead-like tubercles, and a blunt tail, presenting an attractive appearance. Commercial fruits have good uniformity, with a single fruit weight of 500-1000g and flesh thickness of approximately 1.5cm. The taste is moderately bitter and sweet. It exhibits strong ratooning ability and good storage and transportation tolerance. This variety is highly resistant to powdery mildew and fusarium wilt, with wide adaptability. Under normal climate and intensive management conditions, the yield can reach 2500-4000kg per mu (1 mu ≈ 0.0667 hectares).

Cultivation Measures:

Plant 350-400 plants per mu. Choose loamy soil with convenient drainage and irrigation that has not been planted with melon crops in the past 3 years. Adopt high-ridge double-row planting with a row spacing of 2.5m and plant spacing of 1.8m. Apply sufficient base fertilizer; during the fruiting period, use compound organic fertilizer for topdressing. Strengthen water and fertilizer management to keep the soil moist. Remove side branches below 1m, old leaves, diseased leaves, and bottom leaves to ensure ventilation and light transmission, reducing pest and disease damage. Timely control pests such as striped cucumber beetles, leafminers, and fruit flies, as well as diseases like powdery mildew. For specific management, refer to local cultivation practices.

Suitable Planting Areas & Seasons:

Suitable for planting across China under optimal growth temperatures of 16-32°C. For early-maturing protected cultivation in spring, the recommended planting period is from February 15th to April 15th using seedling transplantation. For summer-autumn cultivation, direct seeding after germination is advised from July 15th to August 20th. In the Yangtze River Basin (Jiangsu, Zhejiang, Shanghai, Anhui), protected cultivation can be carried out from February 15th to April 15th (seedling transplantation) for spring planting, and from July 15th to August 20th (direct seeding after germination) for summer-autumn planting. For other regions, sowing time should be based on local suitable temperatures.

Adaptability:

This variety has good disease resistance and wide adaptability.
