The UT685B is a handheld TDR cable tester, suitable for copper (CAT 5E, CAT 6, CAT 6A or CAT 8) cables. It can inspect and diagnose the wiring conditions of twisted-pair and coaxial cables, as well as detect network services and problems such as open circuits, short circuits and crossed pairs in network cabling. It can also detect whether there is PoE power supply (Ethernet power supply module) in the network cabling and the standard of PoE (802.3AF, 802.3AT, 802.3BT). Moreover, it can simultaneously display information such as wire sequence, cable length and open circuit location on the screen.
