The SBA series analysers offer a number of unique advantages:

(1) Low testing costs, with each sample costing just a few pence.
(2) Simple operation, requiring no complex training to use.
(3) Fast testing speed, with a single measurement completed in 20 seconds; a full cycle takes 45 seconds, allowing dozens of samples to be tested in one hour.
(4) Accurate results with high specificity, unaffected by sample colour or turbidity. The measurement range is broad: glucose: 0–100 mg/100 ml; L-lactic acid: 0–50 mg/100 ml; L-glutamic acid: 0–100 mg/100 ml; lysine: 0–100 mg/100 ml; ethanol: 0–100 mg/100 ml. Wide range of test types: fermentation broths, food extracts, ion-exchange eluents, whole blood, serum, cerebrospinal fluid, hydrolysates and hydrolysed sugars. High resolution: 0.1 mg/100 ml or 0.1 mM.

Instrument model names:
The instrument features dual channels and is categorised according to analytical function as follows: SBA-40E Blood Glucose-Lactate Analyser, SBA-40E Glucose-Lactate Analyser, SBA-40E Glucose-Glutamic Acid Analyser, SBA-40E Glucose-Lysine Analyser, SBA-40E Glucose-Ethanol Analyser, SBA-40E Lactate-Glutamate Analyser, and SBA-40E Lactate-Lysine Analyser.

Application Areas:
Microbial Fermentation Industry: Real-time monitoring of microbial fermentation processes for glutamate, lysine, lactate, citric acid, xanthan gum, phenylalanine, ethanol, beer, wine, etc.
Condiment Industry: Fermentation and formulation of condiments such as monosodium glutamate, chicken essence, mushroom essence and vanillin.
Biomass Energy Industry: Biomass-derived energy sources such as cellulosic ethanol and cellulosic butanol.

Biopharmaceutical Industry: Pharmaceutical fermentation of antibiotics such as penicillin, streptomycin, cephalosporins and natamycin.

Detergent and Household Chemicals Industry: Alcohol content control in cleaning products such as hand sanitisers, disinfectants and air fresheners.
