Water from rare earth element extraction is treated with “primary treatment + multimedia
filtration + reverse osmosis + coagulation sedimentation + AO MBR system”. Using micro-
organisms such as nitrifying bacteria and denitrifying bacteria, the system can achieve high nitrogen removal.
