Pitting Machine
This machine is mainly used for crushing and pitting stone fruits such as peaches, apricots and other stone fruit varieties.
Function Description & Applicable Scope
It is mainly applied to the crushing and pitting of stone fruits including peaches, apricots and other stone fruit types.
Working Principle
During operation, fruits enter the machine through the feed inlet. With the assistance of the pressing mechanism, they are fed into the gap between the toothed roller and the rubber roller.
The toothed roller is fitted with crushing cutter discs densely covered with fine teeth. As the toothed roller rotates, the fruits are squeezed; the fine teeth on the cutter discs penetrate the fruit flesh and rub against the rubber roller to break open the fruit pits.
After passing below the toothed roller set, the juice flows into the juice collection hopper, while the fruit pits fall into the pit discharge hopper and are conveyed to the pit washing machine for further processing.
To accommodate varying pit sizes across different batches, the bearing mounting screw holes of the rubber roller are designed as slotted holes, allowing for a certain range of adjustment.
