After the solid-phase polycondensation and tackifying processes, this PBT resin may be used to manufacture optical fiber sheath which is characterized with high flexibility and strength, deformation-free, ageing resistance, good insulating property, and also can maintain electrical stability in humid and high-temperature conditions. It can also be modified before being applied as engineering plastics in electrical products.

It can be used to manufacture optical fiber sheath after being tackified or as engineering plastics after being modified.
