Maojian Tea Production Line
Description
To satisfy customers’ demand for intelligent manufacturing, we have developed an automatic Maojian tea production line connected to a tea data management center. Built on industrial Ethernet and IoT technology, the line enables data exchange between tea manufacturing equipment and cloud platforms, supporting intelligent control, remote equipment management and other smart functions.

Modular DesignWe pioneered the modular design concept for tea processing machinery in the industry. The whole line is divided into standardized modules corresponding to each processing procedure. All modules are connected with dedicated tea buffer conveyors, which completely prevent tea leaves from falling on the ground or making direct contact with workers, realizing fully clean tea production.

Automatic ControlEach processing module is equipped with an independent control system and matched tea buffer device. Individual modules can run separately or operate synchronously as a complete integrated line.

Digital Production ManagementEquipped with data gateways, IoT and industrial internet modules, the line collects and stores real-time operating parameters and process data from every processing stage. Operators can monitor equipment running status on-site or remotely, and build a dedicated tea process database to support continuous quality improvement.

Cost Reduction & Efficiency ImprovementThe line adopts clean energy sources of electricity and liquefied petroleum gas for eco-friendly operation. Its advanced premixed combustion heating system delivers fast temperature rise, tiny temperature overshoot and uniform stable heating, cutting exhaust emissions, lifting thermal efficiency by 25% and reducing energy consumption by 15%. Fully automatic operation drastically lowers labor costs and boosts overall throughput.
II. Processing Capacity & Energy Configuration
Daily fresh leaf handling capacity: 4,000 jin (75% initial moisture content)
Applicable raw materials: single bud, one-bud-one-leaf, one-bud-two-leaf tea shoots
Mixed energy supply:
- Electricity: used for stalk sorting machines, shaping machines and all transmission systems
- Liquefied petroleum gas (LPG): used for heating in fixation machines and dryers

Fresh Leaf Sorting → Leaf Spreading → Fixation → Cooling & Winnowing → Reconditioning → Rolling → Stalk Removal → Reconditioning → Shaping → Cooling → Drying
