Linear External Barrel Brushing
The external barrel brushing process is accomplished by an external barrel brushing machine, with the following working principles and features:
i. In a relatively enclosed environment (to prevent washing liquid leakage), the power head drives the profiling brushes (for the barrel body, neck and bottom) to rotate via a gear mechanism. Meanwhile, a high-pressure pump draws water from the water tank and sprays it continuously onto these parts.
ii. The continuous brushing and water flushing work together to achieve all-round cleaning of the barrel shoulder, body and bottom, ensuring no cleaning dead angles.
iii. Empty barrels are fed into the external brushing machine by side brushes. The barrel-shaped external profiling brush of the machine consists of three parts: the first part is a specially designed brush that cleans the barrel mouth, removing dust, soil and dirt from it; the second part is a custom-made barrel-shaped brush that scrubs the barrel body powerfully to eliminate dirt without damaging the barrel body or printed patterns; the third part is a custom-made brush for the barrel bottom, which is suitable for cleaning both flat-bottomed and concave-bottomed barrels. Detergent is sprayed during the cleaning process for more thorough dirt removal, and a clean water spray system rinses off all residual detergent from the barrels at the machine's outlet.
iv. The entire machine is equipped with an overload slip device to prevent barrel jamming.
v. Controlled by a PLC, the machine forms a tightly coordinated integrated system with the internal rinsing and filling machine.
vi. An independent water tank and cleaning pump are configured for easy operation.
vii. Of course, it can also operate independently if not connected to the production line.
viii. The machine is fitted with a quick-release mechanical arm for convenient operation, allowing a single operator to replace the brushes easily.
