Instant coffee extraction

Instant Coffee, also known as instant coffee, is a kind of brewed drink made from coffee beans. It can be immediately made into a coffee beverage by pouring boiling water over it. The main components are sugar, lipid coffee mate and coffee. Its nutritional content is not as good as that of traditional coffee brewed from fresh coffee beans. It has a higher fat and sugar content, and a lower content of high-quality protein and caffeine. The essence of coffee may be lost during the production process.

Among them, the pretreatment is to remove impurities. During the roasting process, the substances contained in the coffee beans undergo complex physical and chemical reactions, forming the unique aromatic substances of coffee. After grinding, the effective components in coffee are extracted into water under certain temperature and pressure. Through vacuum concentration, it is inclined towards the drying process. Drying is the formation process of instant coffee powder and also the process that has a significant impact on the quality of coffee powder during processing. At present, spray drying is generally adopted. However, due to the strong heat sensitivity of the aromatic substances in coffee, they are prone to volatilization at higher drying temperatures. This is the main reason why instant coffee does not have as rich an aroma as roasted and ground coffee.

High-pressure countercurrent extraction uses a continuous countercurrent method to extract coffee beans under high-temperature and high-pressure conditions (200℃), which largely extracts the caffeine from coffee. The tank body is entirely made of sus304 stainless steel and insulated by PU polyester foaming process. The upper filling port is equipped with a safety interlock device, and the bottom adopts a pneumatic valve to control the automatic slag discharge port. The inlet and outlet liquid ports adopt a mesh structure to separate the material from the extract liquid.
