Heavy Metal Ion Scavenger PO-501

Common heavy metal pollutants include mercury (Hg), lead (Pb), cadmium (Cd), manganese (Mn), chromium (Cr), copper (Cu), nickel (Ni), zinc (Zn), etc. Since heavy metals are usually irreplaceable in industrial processing, they often cause the concentration of heavy metal ions in wastewater to exceed the standard. Due to their toxicity and inability to be decomposed naturally after being discharged in excess, the content of heavy metal ions in wastewater and waste gas is strictly restricted by the state.

The Heavy Metal Ion Scavenger serices are high-tech water treatment agents (organic sulfides) developed by our company with great concentration, combined with the actual water quality of wastewater containing heavy metal ions in China. This Heavy Metal Ion Scavenger can react rapidly with various heavy metal ions (mercury, lead, copper, cadmium, nickel, manganese, zinc, chromium, etc.) in wastewater at room temperature to form chelates that are insoluble in water and have good chemical stability, thereby achieving the purpose of capturing and removing heavy metals. It is an ideal substitute for imported similar products.

Product Characteristics of Heavy Metal Ion Scavenger

  • Strong chelating ability and stable precipitates;
  • Safe operation without danger;
  • Small and stable amount of sludge, with simple post-treatment;
  • No secondary pollution and no harm to the ecology;
  • Excellent performance in various wastewater treatment fields.

Usage Method of Heavy Metal Ion Scavenger

  1. First, test the content of heavy metal ions in the wastewater, and then determine the optimal dosage of the agent through a wastewater simulation dosing test.
  2. Before adding the agent, adjust the pH value of the wastewater to 7-9 for the best effect.
  3. Determine the total daily dosage based on the amount of wastewater to be treated each day. Before dosing, dilute the measured agent to a concentration of 1-2% in the dosing system, then add it to the wastewater continuously or in batches, and stir for about 5-10 minutes.
  4. After stirring, the heavy metal precipitates are generally left to stand for 10 minutes before being separated from water. Then, the heavy metal precipitates are filtered into cakes by a filter press. The filter cakes containing heavy metals are buried as waste without leaching toxicity, and the filtered water can meet the discharge standard.
