Product Overview
The PDJ/D series fully enclosed single-idler trough belt conveyor is an innovative belt conveyor design. It adopts dumbbell-shaped idlers, replacing the traditional configuration of three (or two) sets of idlers. The idlers, conveyor belt, and transported materials operate within a sealed enclosure, eliminating material spillage and dust emission.
Structural Advantages
- Idler Bearing Installation: Bearings are mounted outside the enclosure, enabling easy lubrication and maintenance.
- Return Belt Support: The return belt is supported by an air cushion generated by an air chamber in the enclosure’s base plate. No lower idlers are required.
- Operational Efficiency: This design significantly reduces return belt wear and equipment power consumption, lowering long-term maintenance costs.
