 Product Brief

(1) A palletizer automatically stacks cartons, film-wrapped packages, and other independently packaged products in a certain arrangement on a pallet in multiple layers, then pushes them to a designated position for forklift transportation to the warehouse. It can save the labor of several people (the number of people is calculated based on the output of independent products), ensure the stable production of the factory production line, improve the production efficiency of the production line, and reduce the production cost of the factory.

(2) This equipment is controlled by imported brand (SIEMENS) PLC + touch screen (Schneider), realizing intelligent operation and management, which is simple and easy to master, and various grouping forms can be adjusted conveniently. It can greatly reduce labor and labor intensity, and improve the production line management level of enterprises. It is designed with the concept of high speed, stability and space saving. It adopts a separate pallet, which is faster and more space-saving. One machine has multiple uses, can be adjusted quickly, and can be used for palletizing products of various specifications.

二、Process Flow
This machine can realize the functions of automatic feeding, automatic alignment, automatic lifting and arranging layers, automatic pallet supply, and automatic palletizing.
During production, cartons/heat-shrink film packages are conveyed via a conveyor belt. When passing through the turning device, they are turned as necessary according to the counting program for automatic alignment. After a layer is aligned, the layer-pushing device pushes the arranged layer onto the lifting platform. Then, the arranged layer rises to a specific stacking position along with the lifting platform and is released, thus completing the stacking of one layer. After stacking one layer, the lifting platform returns to its original state, and the stacking operation for the second layer is repeated. Once the stacking is completed, the entire stack is automatically output.

(1) Product Description

(IV) Main Structure and Functions:

(1) Product Input Device

① Product Conveying Device
Through conveyors and belt separators, products are conveyed forward at a certain interval to prepare for direction adjustment.
② Product Directional Turning Device
Automatically adjusts the direction of products according to the arrangement mode set in the PLC program.
③ Product Grouping Device
Through powered roller conveyors, products are automatically grouped and arranged according to the palletizing pattern.
④ Product Sorting Device
After the first row of sorted products is pushed into the layer storage device by an air cylinder via the supply conveyor belt, the second row and third row are pushed in sequence to form a palletizing layer.

(2) Automatic Palletizing Device

After products are sorted into a layer in a certain order, they are pushed into the elevator by a push plate. The elevator rises, and the pallet moves forward to the upper part of the palletizing device, then is placed stably on the pallet (or the previous layer) to realize automatic palletizing. The palletizing device relies on a variable-frequency motor to drive the chain to complete lifting, lowering, forward (and backward) movements.

(3) Automatic Pallet Supply Section

① Pallet Supply Device
The pallet library can stack 15 empty pallets and supply pallets to the palletizing device at regular intervals as required by the program. It is powered by an independent motor.
② Pallet Output Device
When a pallet reaches the set number of palletizing layers, a signal is sent to automatically output the loaded pallet from the palletizing position. The loaded pallet is conveyed to the pallet storage position (or connected to an automatic wrapping machine) via the roller conveyor belt.

(4) Safety Guardrail Device with Multiple Safety Protection Functions

① Standby mode when cartons are missing on the carton input conveyor belt;
② Safety detection for the horizontal movement limit of the palletizing device;
③ Safety detection for the vertical movement limit of the palletizing device;
④ Safety detection for the horizontal movement limit of loaded pallets.

(V) Structural Advantages of This Machine:

It can program the sorting and stacking of cartons, with fast communication capability and powerful diagnostic function, ensuring system reliability. It is easy to operate, with a compact and reasonable structure and high automation level.
f) Adopts AIRTAC air cylinders, which have reliable quality and performance and can meet the requirements of high-intensity and long-term work.
g) Palletizing modes can be set on the human-machine interface, with easy adjustment. Multiple palletizing modes can be realized without changing parts.
h) 95% of electrical components are from well-known European brands, with stable and efficient performance, greatly saving labor.
i) The carton supply system is controlled by a brake motor to ensure cartons are conveyed to the preset position.
j) Low noise: noise level is below 75 dB, complying with international standards.

(VI) Installation Site Requirements

Installation Space Requirements:

  • The ground shall be concrete with a strength of approximately C30 and flat surface.
  • At the installation position of the gantry palletizing main machine, the lower chord height of the workshop beam shall be greater than 4000 mm, and the beam spacing shall be greater than 3000 mm.
  • A suitable air source and power supply shall be available within 2 meters around the site.
  • During the equipment layout design stage, the equipment layout drawing (as shown below) shall be included in the floor plan to confirm the planar space position, and attention shall be paid to the space height.

(VII) Electrical Configuration

(Note: Due to equipment upgrades or non-standard requirements, some electrical components and other parts may be replaced with products of equivalent brands. The final configuration shall be subject to the project equipment configuration.)
