Recently, Hefei Zhongchen Light Industry Machinery Co., Ltd. launched a high-end intelligent bottling line for carbonated (water) bottles to adapt to the development and demand of the high-end water market. The entire line operates at a speed of 15,000 bottles/hour (based on 300mL/bottle) and includes a fully automatic low-level depalletizer, double-end bottle washer, empty bottle and finished product inspection system, bottle rinsing, filling, and capping integrated machine (including cap conveyor and COP cleaning system), mixing machine, bottle warmer, bottle dryer, laser marking machine, carton wrapping machine, cardboard box machine, inkjet printer, weighing machine, film packaging machine, robotic palletizer, and main control cabinet. All equipment is intelligently controlled and can be connected to a self-developed intelligent workshop/PMA production line monitoring system (whole line monitoring technology).
The glass bottles used for high-end bottled water are mostly specially made new bottles with exquisite printing. To ensure effective protection and thorough cleaning of the bottles, the bottle washer employs a double-ended design with an all-stainless steel tank (including a pre-soaking tank, alkali tank, and warm/hot water tank), all-stainless steel bottle racks, and high-strength polypropylene plastic bottle boxes. There are no carbon steel contact parts throughout the entire washing process. A secondary circulating water system at 30°C~40°C pre-rinses and preheats the water internally and externally to reduce wastewater temperature, conserve energy, and minimize bottle breakage. Subsequently, the bottles undergo continuous soaking in the alkali tank. This effectively controls the temperature and concentration of the solution, ensuring thorough softening and reaction of internal and external contaminants. Finally, a comprehensive cleaning, rinsing, and disinfection are performed. Through two internal and external rinsings with circulating water and a final rinse with fresh water, the glass bottles are thoroughly cleaned, drained, and automatically discharged by the unloading device.
During the final bottle washing process, taking advantage of the glass bottle's unique structure (the bottom protrudes 10 mm inward), a rotating tracking rinsing method is employed. A lever on the bottle carrier rack activates a rotating star wheel as the bottle moves forward, driving a rotating shaft. The spray nozzles on this shaft are aligned with the center of the bottle opening and rotate 90° synchronously with the bottle's movement. This allows for tracking and rinsing of the bottle's interior from different angles, minimizing rinsing dead zones. Each row of bottles is rinsed with the nozzles aligned with the bottle opening for approximately half a cycle time. No water is sprayed when the nozzles are not aligned with the bottle's interior, significantly saving fresh water. Furthermore, through advanced control system optimization, the washing pass rate is increased by 30%, and water consumption is reduced by more than 20% compared to conventional bottle washing machines.
