HTMD-25 Series Rotary Automatic Palletizer

In response to the growing labor shortage and insufficient labor resources faced by medium and large-sized manufacturers, we have conducted practical investigations in most factories and, in response to requests from some customers, invested significant human and material resources to successfully develop a new type of numerically controlled rotary automatic palletizing equipment with automatic partition plate/bottom plate placement. Through continuous improvement and innovation, the equipment has achieved a higher cost-performance ratio.

 

This equipment features a small footprint, low operating costs, and multiple functions. It can stack 20 cartons/packages into 1-10 layers per minute as required, facilitating transportation and storage. During the palletizing process, options such as automatic partition plate placement and automatic pallet placement can be selected, which minimizes the labor intensity of employees and reduces the staffing of the entire production line to the greatest extent.

 

The machine adopts a fully automatic palletizing mode. It only requires placing the entire stack of bottom plates and entire stack of partition plates at fixed positions using a manual forklift or motorized forklift, and the machine will automatically complete the actions of picking up the bottom plates and partition plates.

 

This equipment is universally applicable to all plate types used in current production processes on the market, including plastic plates, cardboard plates, wooden plates, and barrel-mouth clamping plates.

III. The Equipment Consists of Three Parts:

1. Automatic Carton/Package Feeding & Arranging Mechanism

Its main configurations are as follows:

  • Chute: Stainless steel portable quick-change unpowered rollers (Ø38310); powered rollers (Ø50412/612)
  • Carton Feeding Motor: Tongyu
  • Carton Arranging: Servo System
  • Pneumatics: AIRTAC air cylinders and solenoid valves (Model: 4V21008B)
  • Sensors: Proximity switches, photoelectric switches
  • Equipped with an automatic carton blocking and staggered arrangement system

2. Automatic Rotating Mechanism

Its main configurations are as follows:

  • Servo System: Inovance Servo System
  • Frequency Converter: Schneider (France)
  • Rotating Motor: Tongyu
  • Lifting Motor: Tongyu
  • Rotating Bearing: NSK (Japan)
  • Counterweight: Each lifting system is equipped with a counterweight device to minimize electrical energy consumption to the greatest extent
  • Sensors: Autonics proximity switches, OMRON photoelectric sensors

3. Automatic Partition/Bottom Plate Handling Mechanism

Its main configurations are as follows:

  • Partition Plate Picking Method: Vacuum suction cups (configurable for both rough and smooth surfaces)
  • Bottom Plate Picking Method: Pneumatic clamping type
  • Carton Conveying Method: Electric roller-type drawbar conveying, linked with PLC control for partition plates and bottom plates
  • Frequency Converter: Schneider Series (France)
  • Lifting Motor: Tongyu Motor
  • Pneumatics: AIRTAC solenoid valves, air cylinders; Keshida suction cups (Ø80mm/Ø40mm)
  • Sensors: Autonics proximity switches, OMRON photoelectric switches

After being packaged, the finished products from the production line enter the differential separator of this equipment, and are then sent to the direction-adjusting mechanism by the differential separator. Sensors count and control whether a single carton/package needs to be turned. Based on the size of the carton/package model, the servo package-feeding signal determines whether a gap is required, and pushes the carton/package product to a fixed position. When the number of multi-row products reaches the set quantity, the carton/package pushing mechanism neatly pushes the entire layer of products into the material-receiving lifting platform on the rotating mechanism.

When there are products in the material-receiving lifting platform, the rotating mechanism rises to lift the products, rotates to the palletizing position, and lowers them to complete the palletizing action. During the rotary palletizing process, the partition plate and bottom plate picking & placing mechanisms act synchronously according to the set requirements and cooperate with each other to complete a series of palletizing processes.

After palletizing is completed, a pallet conveying mechanism can be optionally used to transport the stacked pallets to a specified position. It should be noted that if the pallet output conveying device is selected, a motorized forklift must be used for operation. The entire operation process is controlled by a Siemens PLC, with parameters adjusted via a human-machine interface. This equipment features a small footprint, high automation level, low energy consumption, strong universality for palletizing pallets and partition plates, and an economical overall price.
