Main Characteristics & Cultivation Measures:
This is an early-to-mid-maturing, high-quality, and high-yield first-generation hybrid variety. It blooms and sets fruits early, with concentrated fruiting and high early-stage yield. The fruits are greenish-blue, 20-22cm in length, 3.5cm in diameter, and 0.35cm in flesh thickness, with an average single fruit weight of 60g. The peel is glossy, making the variety suitable for transportation and boasting excellent appearance quality. It exhibits good resistance to bacterial wilt, and moderate tolerance to blight and viral diseases.
Suitable for cultivation across China under optimal growth temperatures of 12-28°C. Recommended sowing periods under suitable temperatures:
- Spring: February 20th to March 20th
- Autumn: July 20th to August 20th
The seed dosage is approximately 100g per mu (1 mu ≈ 0.0667 hectares). Under normal climate and intensive management conditions, the yield can reach around 1000kg per mu.
Notes:
- Practice crop rotation, apply sufficient base fertilizer, and topdress in a timely manner.
- Ensure proper field drainage during the rainy season.
- Germinate seeds before sowing; after sowing, cover with fine topsoil and straw, and remove the straw promptly after seedling emergence.
- Harvest in a timely manner to facilitate the growth of upper fruits.
- Implement integrated pest and disease control for pests such as tobacco budworms, Colorado potato beetles, spodoptera litura, black cutworms; and diseases including damping-off, rhizoctonia rot, gray mold, fusarium wilt, and root rot.
