Product Performance

Reverse Osmosis PO-881 Bactericide is a non-oxidizing bactericide. Owing to its characteristics of high efficiency, broad spectrum, and environmental friendliness, it is regarded as an ideal bactericide-algaecide for membranes and an inhibitor for stripping mucous substances in current applications. It reduces the frequency of reverse osmosis chemical cleaning and extends the service life of reverse osmosis membrane elements.
Upon contact with microorganisms, PO-881 Reverse Osmosis Membrane Bactericide quickly interacts with proteins in biological cells, thereby inhibiting cellular respiration and ATP (Adenosine Triphosphate) synthesis, which ultimately leads to the death of microorganisms. This bactericide has strong penetration ability, easily passing through the surface layer of mucous membranes to effectively kill microorganisms in the deep and sub-layers of mucous membranes. It prevents microorganisms from forming mucous membranes and promotes the stripping of existing mucous membranes. It maintains good stability within the feed water pH range of 5-10, does not produce foam, and will not undergo complexation or precipitation reactions with metal ions in water.

Usage Method of Reverse Osmosis PO-881

To achieve the maximum bactericidal effect, the Reverse Osmosis bactericide is added before the security filter. It is used once a week, with a treatment time of 30 - 45 minutes. It can be continuously dosed online at 4 - 8 ppm, or intermittently dosed online at 100 - 400 ppm. The specific dosage still needs to be determined according to the water quality conditions and seasonal changes.

When stopping the operation of the RO system, prepare a bactericidal solution by means of chemical cleaning, and circulate the solution to treat the system. If the Reverse Osmosis system is severely contaminated, chemical cleaning should be carried out on the system first, and then bactericidal treatment should be performed. The technical service personnel of our company will determine the dosing point and dosage according to the specific system conditions of your company.

Packaging, Storage, Transportation and Precautions of Reverse Osmosis PO-881

It is packaged in plastic barrels, with 25 kg per barrel, 200 kg per barrel or as determined according to user needs; store in a cool and dry place, and the storage period is twelve months. Pay attention to labor protection during operation, and avoid contact with skin, eyes, etc. In case of contact, rinse with a large amount of clean water.
