Automatic Label Sleeving Machine
Working Principle
When a barrel enters the core unit of the label sleeving system, the label-sleeving photoelectric sensor detects the barrel and immediately sends a signal to the PLC control center. The PLC then issues four consecutive commands in sequence:
label feeding, positioning, cutting, and shooting.
Once label shooting is completed, the label-sleeving process for one barrel is finished, and the barrel proceeds to the label finishing and shrinking unit.
Machine Composition
a) Main Label Sleeving Unit
Drives the whole roll of labels, cuts individual labels, and applies them to the product.
Consists of: servo motor, label feeding wheel, label shooting wheel, cutter box, film guiding tube, label detecting mechanism, tail wing, label guiding tube, supporting roller, synchronous label shooting mechanism, lifting mechanism, and front/rear adjusting mechanism.
b) Pre‑film Loosening Device
Feeds label film to the label feeding unit evenly at a constant tension via a pre-loosening motor, film-loosening sensor, and swing-arm tension mechanism.
c) Label Pushing Device
Pushes the label film down to the lower part of the product using nylon strips.
Consists of: label pushing motor and nylon strips.
d) Power Control Unit
Provides main power switch, power control and indication; separate control for label sleeving and heat shrinking.
e) Human-Machine Interface (HMI)
Controls the automatic label sleeving program. Partial actions can be controlled manually, and operating parameters can be set, stored, and recalled on the HMI.
One set of automatic label sleeving machine is provided in this system to realize fully automatic label sleeving.
