(1) Labeling Working Principle
This hot melt adhesive OPP labeling machine is a linear single-head labeling machine. The working process is as follows:
- Bottles conveyed by the conveyor belt are transferred to the bottle mold by the star wheel bottle feeding mechanism. After the bottle is fixed by the bottle pressing mechanism and the bottle mold base, the bottle mold starts to rotate at a certain speed.
- During the rotation of the product, pre-positioning is carried out by the servo motor, and labeling is performed according to the trajectory.
- When the bottle reaches the mold, the computer host controls the label feeding system to feed the label. After one label feeding action is completed, the high-speed cutter cuts off one label. The adoption of the American Honeywell low-inertia high-speed servo motor ensures the accuracy and stability of high-speed label feeding and cutting.
- The cut label is sent to the gluing system. In this part, the system applies glue to the two ends (head and tail edges) of the label. This gluing method minimizes the consumption of hot melt adhesive.
- When the glued label is rotated to the labeling position, it can be accurately and effectively adhered to the bottle body. Since the bottle is in a rotating state during the label conveying process, the label can be smoothly and tightly attached to the container. The glue strip at the glue application end forms a good label lap seal, thus completing a labeling cycle.
