Air cushion belt conveyors are designed and manufactured in accordance with the standards GB/T 10595 and JB/T 7854.
This conveyor replaces a large number of idlers with an air chamber. A common centrifugal fan injects pressurized air into the air chamber; the air is then ejected onto the belt through small holes in the air chamber’s trough, forming a pressurized air film between the belt and the trough to support the belt.
Structural Classification
Air cushion belt conveyors are categorized by structure into:
- Semi-air-cushion (single air chamber): QDJ series
- Full-air-cushion (double air chambers): SQD series
